Sales Operations Specialist (Contract)

About the role

This contract position supports Anglo American's Nickel business in Singapore. You will coordinate export operations to multiple global destinations, work closely with Sales and Marketing to create new customer opportunities, and provide administrative support to the UK/SGP team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage monthly export planning, ensuring accurate sales data in information systems.
• Coordinate the full export chain from load port to customer mill, including order placement, freight booking, vessel nomination and customs clearance.
• Oversee delivery schedules, shipment monitoring and trans‑shipment activities.
• Handle inventory reconciliation, monthly reporting and provide sales volume and invoice data to Finance.
• Process letters of credit, negotiate terms with customers and manage invoice generation, approval and payment tracking.
• Act as daily contact for the Brazilian sales operations team and liaise with logistics and warehouse service providers.
• Support office administration, event coordination, travel arrangements and lease matters.

Required profile

• Knowledge of commodities value chains and third‑party contract processes.
• Understanding of marketing fundamentals such as pricing, delivery strategy and net‑back calculations.
• Experience in transport logistics, export documentation and customs procedures.
• Proven background in sales operations, planning or analysis within the resources or commodities sector.
• Familiarity with offtake arrangements, pre‑export finance and contract performance management.
