Sample Preparation Technician I

About the role

Eurofins Scientific is seeking a Sample Preparation Technician I to support laboratory operations by ensuring samples are prepared accurately and safely. You will work in a GMP/GLP environment, handling a variety of sample types for food, dietary supplements, and other analytical projects.

Key responsibilities

• Perform sample preparation tasks such as labeling, transferring, liquid nitrogen handling, milling, blending, weighing, and disposal.
• Communicate sample information and discrepancies to appropriate personnel and assist in problem‑solving.
• Respond to internal customer inquiries and collaborate with service coordinators to resolve issues.
• Introduce improvement ideas and support cross‑training between food and dietary supplement preparation procedures.
• Learn and execute equipment maintenance, basic repairs, and work order placement.
• Conduct all activities safely and efficiently while adhering to company vision and policies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of computers.
• Ability to follow GMP and GLP guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail, punctuality, and regular attendance.
