Senior Backend Engineer

About the role

Nas.com is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to help scale and maintain the backend systems of its AI‑powered creator platform. The role is full‑time, based in Singapore, and requires independent work in an asynchronous environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement new backend features in collaboration with product managers.
• Improve system architecture for performance, scalability and maintainability.
• Maintain and enhance AWS cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
• Set up and refine monitoring, logging and alerting to ensure observability.
• Provide off‑hours support for backend incidents, especially during EU daytime / APAC night.
• Uphold high code quality through reviews, testing and documentation.

Required profile

• At least 4 years of experience in backend development or systems engineering.
• Proven ability to work independently in an asynchronous, fast‑growing environment.
• Strong focus on reliability, performance and best engineering practices.
