Senior Corporate Communications Executive (RSIS)

About the role

The S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS), a graduate school of Nanyang Technological University, is recruiting a Senior Corporate Communications Executive. The role reports to the Head of Corporate Communications and covers digital content and strategy, branding and publicity, as well as corporate merchandise, videography and photography. Candidates with extra skills and more experience may be considered for a higher appointment as Assistant Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute digital communications strategies across digital media to build brand awareness, including short-term and long-haul plans
• Create, edit and publish digital content such as social media visuals, photos, videos and podcasts across RSIS channels and website
• Work with external vendors and help with corporate photography and videography as needed
• Manage the photo and video archive and help retrieve material
• Manage the inventory and sales of corporate merchandise, including one-off items for special occasions
• Collaborate with other departments on branding and help produce publications such as the annual review and newsletters

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in mass communications, journalism, art and design, digital marketing or similar
• 4-5 years of experience in corporate communications, social media, public relations, digital communications or digital marketing
• Prior experience in digital agencies and publication houses is advantageous
• Experience in strategic digital communications (storyboarding videos, campaign design, crisis management, social media trends) is preferred
• Event photography and videography, including editing short-form reels, is highly preferred

Required skills

• Strong use of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn) and interpretation of analytics
• Analytical and time-management skills, able to manage multiple projects
• Team player able to collaborate across departments
