Senior Financial Analyst – Business Partnering & Controlling

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to act as a Finance Business Partner for a leading multinational industrial company in Singapore. Reporting directly to global leadership, you will translate complex financial data into actionable insights that drive cost efficiency, forecast accuracy, and strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting, quarterly outlook, and monthly forecasting cycles for global industrial operations, delivering variance and trend analysis.
• Partner with operational and cross‑functional teams to align financial outcomes with business performance.
• Produce accurate financial management reports and validate data integrity.
• Analyze business spend and capital expenditure using actual versus standard cost comparisons across product lines.
• Drive cost‑optimization initiatives through deep‑dive analytics on productivity and key cost drivers.
• Support month‑end closing procedures and coordinate grant audits.
• Champion process improvements by leveraging SAP, Anaplan, Power BI and AI tools to enhance modeling, automation, and forecast accuracy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in financial accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
• Strong understanding of corporate finance principles and ability to turn large data sets into strategic decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with proven collaboration in global, matrixed environments.
• Prior exposure to complex, high‑mix industrial environments is a plus.
