Senior Implementations Accountant II

About the role

Carta, a platform for private capital, is hiring a Senior Implementations Accountant to join its fund administration team in Singapore. As the first contact for new Fund Administration customers, you will coordinate, facilitate and manage onboarding activities within tight deadlines, working with fund back offices (CFOs, Fund Managers) to deliver accurate financial statements.

Key responsibilities

• Collect historical data from fund back offices and provide advisory support and software demonstrations.
• Advise customers on accounting best practices and transform unstructured client data into accurate reports for customers and their investors.
• Manage and complete projects within agreed timelines.
• Work with Product and Engineering teams to share accounting expertise and customer insight, and help pioneer the use of AI in fund administration.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience in fund administration, with a focus on Private Equity.
• Strong foundation in Private Equity Fund Administration and understanding of common fund structures.
• Experience interpreting fund documents such as Limited Partnership Agreements and Private Placement Memoranda.
• Interest in project management, effective communication and meeting multiple deadlines.
• Curiosity about AI and interest in fast-paced, collaborative projects.

Required skills

• Experience with Australian fund structures (VCLPs, ESVCLPs) is an advantage.
• SaaS experience is an advantage.
