Senior Legal & Compliance Counsel

About the role

Ennovi is seeking an experienced Legal and Compliance Counsel to join its Singapore legal team. Reporting to the General Counsel, the role combines generalist legal work with responsibility for the global corporate compliance programme.

Key responsibilities

• Review and update regulatory and compliance policies, staying current on bribery, corruption, data privacy, competition, export control and sanctions laws.
• Design and deliver compliance and ethics training, manage whistleblower programme and conduct internal investigations.
• Perform third‑party due‑diligence screening and advise business units on contractual provisions related to compliance risks.
• Conduct legal research, draft, review and negotiate international commercial contracts such as manufacturing and procurement agreements.
• Provide legal support for corporate matters, strategic transactions and risk mitigation across operations.
• Manage relationships with external counsel and coordinate internal stakeholder training.

Required profile

• LL.B (or equivalent) and admission to practice law in at least one jurisdiction.
• Minimum 8 years of in‑house or law‑firm experience with strong exposure to legal and compliance functions.
• High professional and ethical standards, strategic analytical ability and keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and in multicultural teams.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional international travel.
• Strong overall computer proficiency and ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
