Senior Legal Counsel – Technology (8+ PQE)

About the role

We are exclusively partnering with a founder‑led AI infrastructure company that designs, builds and operates high‑performance AI Factories. Reporting to the General Counsel, the Senior Legal Counsel will provide strategic, commercially focused legal support across the company’s customer, technology and intellectual‑property activities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the structuring, negotiation and ongoing management of key customer contracts and strategic commercial deals supporting the AI and high‑performance computing platform.
• Provide specialist advice on technology, software, SaaS and broader IT contracting matters.
• Advise on protection, licensing and commercialisation of intellectual property.
• Support regulatory compliance across privacy, data protection and export control requirements.
• Advise on consumer law, fair trading issues and product‑related legal matters.
• Develop and maintain scalable legal templates, policies and frameworks to enable rapid growth while preserving governance.

Required profile

• Minimum 8+ years post‑qualification experience (PQE), gained in a top‑tier law firm and/or sophisticated in‑house legal environment.
• Strong experience across technology, privacy, data protection, customer contracting, consumer law and commercial contracting.
• Proven ability to negotiate and manage complex customer, technology and commercial arrangements.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to operate autonomously and provide clear, solutions‑focused advice in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented business.
