Senior Maintenance Technician – Modulus Project

About the role

The Modulus Project at Sanofi Manufacturing & Supply seeks a Senior Maintenance Technician to support the operation, reliability and continuous improvement of clean and black utilities as well as single‑use manufacturing equipment in the Singapore facility. The role ensures safe, efficient and cGMP‑compliant performance of critical utility systems and process equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on clean utilities (chilled water, compressed air, steam, RO water, WFI, clean gases) and black utilities (solvent and waste management systems).
• Maintain and troubleshoot single‑use equipment such as bioreactors, UFDF systems, biosafety cabinets, centrifuges, autoclaves, washers, dispensing booths and column packing systems.
• Execute valve maintenance and repair, including PSV, GEMU, control, pinch, butterfly and check valves.
• Document all maintenance activities in accordance with cGMP and regulatory requirements.
• Support production teams in equipment troubleshooting and escalation when needed.
• Develop and implement reliability strategies, preventive maintenance programs and conduct inspections, audits and compliance reviews.
• Provide technical direction to contractors and vendors, ensuring safety, reliability and GMP/GDP compliance.
• Assist with startup, commissioning, qualification, HAZOP, HAZID, FMEA, SOP development and CMMS setup.

Required profile

• Proven experience in utilities and process equipment maintenance within a GMP environment.
• Strong understanding of clean and black utility systems and single‑use manufacturing technologies.
• Ability to work collaboratively with production, engineering and external vendors.
• Attention to detail and commitment to documentation and regulatory compliance.
