Senior Manufacturing Engineer – Plastics Injection Molding

About the role

Our client, a multinational contract manufacturing company, is expanding its engineering team in Singapore. They are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer with expertise in plastics injection molding to lead and improve production processes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and support for molding, assembly, and automation processes, troubleshooting complex production issues.
• Apply scientific molding and structured problem‑solving methods to improve process stability, yield and overall performance.
• Lead root‑cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions to reduce defects, scrap and rework.
• Manage process validations (IQ, OQ, PQ), tooling trials and Engineering Change Notifications (ECN) for smooth product or process changes.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance OEE, optimise cycle time and improve cost efficiency through lean and automation practices.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, suppliers and customers to ensure technical compliance with quality standards such as ISO 13485 and FDA QSR.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing engineering experience in the molding industry.
• Diploma or degree in an engineering discipline.
