Senior Procurement Executive – Equipment Buyer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Procurement Executive to manage equipment purchases for our production centres across Singapore. The role involves sourcing, evaluating and contracting with vendors while ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Solicit and evaluate bids in line with procurement policies.
• Conduct technical and commercial clarification meetings with vendors.
• Prepare commercial bid evaluation reports and shortlist vendors.
• Review requisitions, clarify specifications, and recommend cost‑saving substitutions.
• Draft and manage purchase contracts, monitoring vendor performance throughout the contract lifecycle.
• Track post‑order activities such as design, engineering, manufacturing progress and delivery status.
• Expedite vendor data and drawing submissions.
• Maintain a library of catalogues and price lists for reference.
• Visit vendor plants to assess capabilities, perform audits and appraise performance.
• Ensure occupational safety and environmental compliance.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in any engineering field.
• Entry‑level candidates are welcome; on‑the‑job training will be provided.
• High integrity, neat appearance, tactful and dependable.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain confidentiality.

What we offer

• Contract position with a monthly salary range of SGD 3,000 – 6,000.
• Island‑wide transport provided.
• Standard working hours: Mon‑Thu 8:00 am‑5:15 pm, Fri 8:00 am‑4:30 pm.
