Motor Claim Advisor (Accident)

About the role

Manage vehicle accident claims and coordinate repairs to ensure timely completion and customer satisfaction while maintaining accurate documentation and liaising with insurance companies for payment and claim settlements. The role involves handling claim processes from initiation to settlement, ensuring compliance with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage vehicle accident claims from initiation to settlement to ensure timely resolution.
• Coordinate scheduled repairs for accident vehicles as recommended by surveyors.
• Prepare and maintain all necessary documents including job cards, files, reports, and invoices.
• Obtain approval and signatures on discharge forms before releasing vehicles.
• Follow up with insurance companies and customers to secure timely payment for claims.
• Maintain and analyze insurance claims reports to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
• Monitor aging reports to detect and escalate cases with settlement delays.
• Administer and organize all documents related to costs, claims, and vehicle history.

Required profile

• Nitec, Higher Nitec, or ‘O’ level certification or above.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience managing vehicle accident claims.
• Possess a valid Class 3 driving license.
• Ability to articulate issues clearly, analyze problems, and provide effective solutions.
• Skilled in preparing accident claim quotations and liaising with insurance companies on claim status.
