Senior Project Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery, enhancement and support of our Group Insurance Policy Administration system, Group Asia and Customer Information File (CIF). The role will drive AI‑enabled transformation initiatives across the Group Insurance business while ensuring regulatory compliance and system stability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of system enhancements, regulatory changes, technology refreshes and production support improvements for Group Asia and CIF.
• Partner with business stakeholders, Business Analysts, IT teams and external vendors to define scope, objectives, timelines and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans covering milestones, dependencies, resources, risks and budgets.
• Govern project execution to meet agreed schedule, cost and quality while complying with internal SDLC, governance and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee change management, release planning and production deployments to minimise business disruption.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, issues and dependencies, providing regular status reports to senior management and steering committees.
• Support resolution of production issues and major incidents, coordinating cross‑functional teams as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• 8–10 years of IT experience, including at least 5 years as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager handling large‑scale enterprise systems.
• Proven experience with legacy core insurance systems, preferably AS400 and Java platforms.
• Strong understanding of Group Insurance processes, policy administration and batch‑driven systems.
• Experience managing vendors and outsourced development/support models.
• Good knowledge of SDLC, release management and IT governance frameworks (Waterfall and Agile).
