Senior Service Technician (ACMV)

About the role

Johnson Controls is hiring a Senior Service Technician (ACMV) to ensure the efficient operation, maintenance and servicing of HVAC systems. The technician acts as a trusted advisor to customers, solving building inefficiencies and providing solutions and outcomes at the time of service.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine servicing, maintenance and inspection of HVAC systems to ensure proper functioning and efficiency.
• Overhaul and repair HVAC equipment, identifying and resolving issues or malfunctions.
• Test and commission newly installed or repaired HVAC systems to verify performance.
• Diagnose problems, troubleshoot issues and recommend solutions to keep systems running continuously.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate with clients to address inquiries and provide technical support.
• Maintain accurate records of service reports, equipment status and maintenance schedules.
• Follow safety protocols and industry standards, and support proposals and recommendations, including upselling opportunities.

Required profile

• O Level / A Level / ITE / Diploma in Mechanical and Electrical, with 1 year of working experience.
• Proven experience in maintenance, repair and troubleshooting in HVAC or Building Automation Systems (BAS).
• Ability to read schematics and write up reports.
• Strong communication skills in the local language (reading, writing and conversation).
• Willingness to learn, to be a good teammate, and to stand by and back up colleagues.
• HVAC knowledge is an added advantage.
