Senior System Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior System Engineer to provide expert IT support for customers under software maintenance contracts. The role involves troubleshooting network issues, installing and configuring servers, network devices, and operating systems to ensure optimal performance across enterprise environments.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver technical support and maintenance services to customers under software maintenance contracts, ensuring timely issue resolution.
• Diagnose and resolve network‑related problems within MS Windows and Office 365 environments.
• Install, upgrade and migrate operating systems including Microsoft Windows, Linux and Citrix.
• Configure and deploy servers, Cisco routers and firewalls (Cisco PIX, Checkpoint, Watchguard) to secure and optimise the network infrastructure.
• Set up and maintain MS Windows environments to guarantee reliable system operations.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science or equivalent professional IT certifications (e.g., MCSE, CCNA, CNE).
• Minimum 5 years of experience supporting MS Windows or Unix/Linux networking environments.
• Proficient spoken and written English.
