Senior Developer Relations Engineer

About the role

The VoidZero team at Cloudflare builds open‑source tools that power the modern web, including Vite and related projects. We are looking for a passionate builder, teacher, mentor, and communicator to shape how developers use and contribute to our tools.

Key responsibilities

• Create end‑to‑end content such as documentation, tutorials, technical videos, live streams, and blog posts to teach developers how to use our products.
• Represent the developer community in product discussions, bringing feedback and pain points back to the product teams.
• Grow and nurture the community of developers using our tools, establishing thoughtful, empathetic relationships.
• Collaborate with open‑source peers, partners, and maintainers to produce content that shows integration and extension of VoidZero projects.
• Partner with Cloudflare product, engineering, and marketing teams to align content with broader company and ecosystem goals.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience as a software engineer, ML engineer, or in developer relations with hands‑on coding ability.
• Strong JavaScript and TypeScript expertise and extensive knowledge of the JavaScript ecosystem.
• Proven experience building community on platforms like Twitter, Discord, and YouTube.
• Track record of creating developer‑focused content such as blog posts, talks, tutorials, and videos.
• Excellent spoken and written communication and ability to work cross‑functionally.
• Passion for open‑source and developer communities.
