Wintel Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

GOLDTECH RESOURCES is looking for an experienced Wintel Infrastructure Engineer to manage and support enterprise Windows, virtualization, endpoint, and cloud environments across Singapore. The role focuses on ensuring high availability, security, and performance of both on‑premises and cloud infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and support enterprise Windows Server and workplace environments, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and operational health; manage patching, upgrades, security hardening, and compliance.
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, user accounts, and access controls.
• Support backup, recovery, and disaster‑recovery processes.
• Maintain virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V) and manage virtual machines and high‑availability configurations.
• Operate cloud services on Microsoft Azure and/or AWS, monitoring resources, security, and stability.
• Handle endpoint management, software deployment, desktop imaging, and patching.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts to improve operational efficiency.
• Document procedures, support change management, and participate in audits and governance activities.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Windows infrastructure administration.
• Proven experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows Server environments.
• Hands‑on experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper‑V).
• Experience managing cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
