Workshop Technician – Heavy Vehicle Maintenance

About the role

Goldbell Group is seeking a skilled Workshop Technician to perform maintenance, repair and overhaul work on heavy vehicles. The role involves diagnosing issues, executing major engine and transmission repairs, and ensuring high‑quality workmanship within defined turnaround times.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled maintenance, repairs and overhauls on heavy commercial vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical and electronic faults and perform major engine and transmission repairs.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and meet workshop service standards.
• Notify the Team Leader of any unusual problems requiring major repairs or part replacements.
• Complete work orders for each serviced vehicle and adhere to safety and orderliness guidelines.
• Perform ad‑hoc duties as assigned by superiors.

Required profile

• NTC 2 or NITEC 2 in Automotive Technology or equivalent qualification.
• 2–3 years of experience in commercial vehicle service and repair.
• Basic English proficiency (verbal and written).
• Preferably at least 2 years of hands‑on experience troubleshooting electrical and electronic systems.
• Class 3 driving licence preferred.
