Quality Assurance Technician

About the role

The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for ensuring that product builds meet all specifications and quality standards. Working primarily in a clean‑room environment, the role involves conducting inspections, audits, and coordinating product returns for corrective action.

Key responsibilities

• Perform random, scheduled and unscheduled audits to verify conformance to customer specifications, technical drawings, and company procedures.
• Conduct root‑cause analyses on material returns, reviewing documentation and interviewing staff to identify defects or process breakdowns.
• Maintain logs and data on quality metrics, returned material, supplier performance, and non‑conformances for trend analysis.
• Prepare and submit product return documentation to suppliers and monitor corrective‑action responses.
• Assist in developing and maintaining ISO system documentation, including work instructions and departmental policies.
• Adhere to attendance and punctuality standards and perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• 1 to 3 years of relevant quality assurance or inspection experience.
• High school graduate; electronics/IT hardware background preferred.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+ and IPC are advantageous.
• Ability to work in a clean‑room environment with ESD protection and occasional overtime.

Required skills

• CompTIA A+ certification.
• IPC certification.
• Proficiency with a 10‑key numeric keypad for data entry.
• Strong basic mathematical calculation ability.
