3-Month Legal Counsel (Temporary)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to join our team in Singapore on a three‑month fixed‑term basis. The role will support the business with commercial and corporate legal matters, ensuring contracts and operations are compliant and risk‑aware.

Key responsibilities

• Review, draft and negotiate a wide range of commercial and corporate contracts.
• Provide timely, practical legal advice on contractual, corporate and operational issues.
• Support the organisation on legal matters arising from business operations and strategic initiatives.
• Advise internal stakeholders on legal risks and recommend mitigation measures.
• Apply legal principles effectively across unfamiliar or evolving areas of law.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure contracts and business practices are legally sound and aligned with organisational requirements.

Required profile

• More than 10 years of relevant legal experience in a corporate legal function or litigation.
• Qualified lawyer with appropriate legal qualifications and professional experience.
• Strong background in corporate law, contract review and negotiation; litigation experience is advantageous.
• Excellent legal research, drafting, negotiation and advisory skills.
• Ability to analyse and apply legal principles to unfamiliar business matters and provide commercially sound advice.
