Account Assistant

About the role

The Finance Division of TNB Builder is seeking an Account Assistant to support day‑to‑day accounting operations across Singapore. You will work closely with auditors, tax agents and internal teams to ensure accurate financial records and timely payroll processing.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain full sets of accounts and prepare schedules and reports for audit readiness.
• Enter data promptly into the accounting system and generate regular financial reports.
• Reconcile accounting and bank records, prepare invoices, and manage debt collection.
• Handle payment follow‑ups, liaise with clients, suppliers, external auditors and tax agents.
• Prepare and file GST returns and submit required government survey reports.
• Support the Finance Division with ad‑hoc tasks, budgeting and forecasting exercises.
• Process fortnightly payroll, manage staff attendance and leave updates, and ensure compliance with the Employment Act.

Required profile

• Diploma in Accountancy or a related accounting qualification.
• At least 1 year of relevant accounting experience (preferred).
• Proactive, able to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment and meet strict deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail, organized filing habits and an analytical mindset.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative team attitude.
