Account Director (APAC)

About the role

Thought Machine is looking for an Account Director to serve as the primary liaison for our APAC banking clients. You will drive existing accounts forward, uncover new opportunities, and build strong relationships across executive, programme, procurement, legal and compliance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute annual account plans aligned with Thought Machine and client strategic priorities.
• Establish trusted‑advisor relationships with business, technology and operations stakeholders, acting as the main point of contact.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high client satisfaction and successful project delivery.
• Provide clear, regular updates on initiative progress to internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor client product usage, forecast key account metrics and drive net‑new revenue growth.
• Coordinate with delivery partners to exceed service expectations.
• Assist clients with communications, system demonstrations, presentations, workshops and business case development.

Required profile

• Proven track record of enhancing client engagement, driving revenue growth and identifying new opportunities within existing accounts.
• Strong ability to build and maintain deep client relationships, including experience managing senior‑level stakeholders.
