Account Director – Large Enterprise (Financial Services)

About the role

OpenAI’s Go‑to‑Market team in Singapore is looking for an Account Director to lead large enterprise financial‑services customers through the full AI adoption journey. You will partner with researchers, engineers and solution strategists to help clients transform their businesses with our advanced AI models.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of key financial‑services accounts, creating and executing comprehensive account plans.
• Drive the end‑to‑end sales cycle, from pipeline generation to contract closure, targeting consumption‑based revenue.
• Collaborate with solutions, research engineering and product teams to design and deliver complex AI programs.
• Own and forecast consumption revenue targets, regularly reporting metrics and insights to internal stakeholders.
• Monitor industry trends, competitors and partner activities to inform product road‑maps and corporate strategy.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and cultural development of the GTM team.

Required profile

• 10+ years selling PaaS/SaaS to large financial‑services institutions in Southeast Asia, consistently achieving > $2 M annual revenue.
• Proven ability to design and execute complex deal strategies and work directly with C‑level executives.
• Deep understanding of AI transformation priorities and challenges within the financial‑services sector.
• Experience leading high‑visibility customer events such as advisory boards, conferences and product launches.
• Strong analytical skills to gather and distill market, competitor and customer intelligence.
