Account Executive

About the role

The Account Executive will support DAY ONE PTE. LTD.’s finance team in Singapore, handling day‑to‑day transaction processing, internal controls and financial reporting. This role offers exposure to a variety of finance functions in a fast‑moving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in formulating and implementing internal control procedures.
• Review and recommend new finance work processes and improvements.
• Monitor inward transactions on a daily basis.
• Collaborate with external counterparts to complete month‑end closing.
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of claims and prompt disbursements.
• Process GIRO application forms and liaise with banks for approval.
• Provide reliable data for cash‑flow projections.
• Maintain the Fixed Assets Register and conduct regular asset counts.
• Liaise with HR for payroll reconciliation.
• Document workflow and policies properly.
• Review accounts payable ageing, follow up on long‑outstanding balances and drive closure.
• Coordinate with audit partners and perform ad‑hoc duties as assigned.
