Account Management Leader (Singapore/Malaysia)

About the role

Flexport is seeking an experienced leader to head its Account Management team for Singapore and Malaysia. The role will own a portfolio of client relationships, drive business growth, and mentor a team of Account Managers to deepen engagements across the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a growth plan for the regional book of business, generating leads, converting them into opportunities and delivering tailored solutions.
• Act as trusted advisor to clients, advocating their needs internally and ensuring high client retention through regular business reviews.
• Lead, coach and mentor a team of Account Managers, holding them accountable for performance and guiding them through complex client conversations.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Supply Chain Operations, Procurement, Implementation and Trade & Financial Services to design and deliver optimal client strategies.
• Monitor client health, drive product adoption of the Flexport platform and identify opportunities to improve outcomes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree with at least 5 years of experience in sales, account management or supply chain operations, preferably in a managerial role.
• Background in logistics, freight forwarding or supply chain is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to build and grow global client relationships, especially in retail, electronics or technology verticals.
• Strong entrepreneurial mindset, strategic thinking and disciplined planning skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.
