Account Manager, Business Development (Travel & Dining Services)

About the role

We are seeking an energetic and driven Account Manager to join our Business Development team, focusing on the fast‑growing Travel & Dining Services category. You will play a key part in shaping the success of our merchant partners, especially in the Food & Beverage and ride‑hailing sectors, by building impactful partnerships and driving commercial growth.

Key responsibilities

• Drive commercial growth for a portfolio of key accounts within the Travel & Dining Services category, focusing on F&B merchants and ride‑hailing partners.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to engage accounts and optimise performance in day‑to‑day operations and large‑scale Shopee campaigns.
• Analyse account performance and operational metrics to identify growth opportunities and deliver data‑driven solutions.
• Collaborate with the acquisitions team to pitch and onboard new merchants, expanding service offerings.
• Work closely with internal Marketing, Revenue and Operations teams to ensure smooth execution of initiatives and campaigns.
• Lead in‑team projects to improve processes and introduce new strategic initiatives that boost category performance.
• Engage accounts to drive participation in Shopee campaigns and exceed campaign targets.
• Partner with Category Managers to define and execute a comprehensive growth strategy for the Travel & Dining Services vertical.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Relevant experience in account management or category management.
• Experience in e‑commerce or a related industry is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with a proven ability to build and sustain client relationships.
• Entrepreneurial mindset; self‑starter comfortable with ambiguity and eager to experiment.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and apply insights.
• Proactive, goal‑oriented and a strong team player.
