Account Manager

About the role

MacGregor is seeking an Account Manager to drive client success within its marine, shipping and offshore segments. You will plan, develop and execute sales activities for spare parts, services and projects, building trusted partnerships with customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage sales budgets and plans for assigned market segments or key customers.
• Negotiate sales contracts with existing and new clients, covering spare parts, maintenance and service offerings.
• Prepare accurate sales and service forecasts, monitor revenues against targets and adjust tactics as needed.
• Provide market intelligence, pricing and distribution insights to shape regional strategies.
• Act as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams (Key Account Managers, Project Managers, Customer Experience and Service Operations) to ensure requirement fulfillment and smooth escalation handling.
• Conduct weekly on‑site visits to identify emerging needs and align them with MacGregor solutions.
• Compile and share monthly reports on customer insights and market trends with local and regional management.

Required profile

• Proactive sales contributor with strong technical or business acumen.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills, comfortable spending up to 50% of time on‑site with customers.
• Self‑starter who can bridge technical and commercial value to exceed sales targets.
• Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma in engineering, marine or business.
• 3‑5 years of experience in the marine, shipping or offshore industry (preferred).
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
