Account Manager – RSME Loans

About the role

We are looking for an Account Manager to oversee the RSME Loans Portfolio (excluding Trade accounts). The role involves managing client relationships, ensuring loan retention through repricing, and supporting day‑to‑day servicing for corporate customers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage RSME loan accounts, including repricing, CDD/ECDD periodic and event‑trigger reviews, and amendment assessments.
• Conduct credit analysis and approval (AA) reviews for changes in loan structure, ownership, guarantors, or security.
• Review litigation cases, exceptional reports (SCCB, OBIEE) and adverse news, applying Simplified or Full Review processes.
• Provide after‑sales service such as statement requests, redemptions, pre‑payments, and consent letters.
• Update borrower information in the ESIMS portal and generate EFS trade renewal letters.
• Cross‑sell Maybank products and refer customers to other business units.
• Act as Business Risks Control Officer (BCRO) for SME Banking, preparing risk assessment reports, advising on inherent risks, and coordinating business continuity planning.
• Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and support portal data renewal for overseas properties and SBLCs.

Required profile

• Experience in managing SME or corporate loan portfolios.
• Strong understanding of credit risk, CDD/ECDD processes, and loan repricing.
• Ability to analyse litigation reports and conduct exception reviews.
• Proactive customer service orientation with cross‑selling capability.
• Familiarity with risk control and business continuity responsibilities.
