Account Manager – Singapore

About the role

DHL Express Singapore is seeking an Account Manager to drive revenue growth within an assigned sales territory. Reporting to the Area Sales Manager, you will nurture existing client relationships, acquire new business, and act as the primary point of contact for customers across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main liaison between customers and DHL Express, coordinating with internal departments to resolve queries and issues.
• Manage a portfolio of existing and potential customers through regular face‑to‑face visits and follow‑up activities.
• Produce performance data for management and track key performance indicators.
• Coordinate customer service, service recovery, and credit control matters with relevant teams.
• Participate in regular meetings with Marketing and Sales leadership to align personal sales strategies with revenue targets.
• Execute a weekly customer visit plan using the Global Call Planning Tool to increase share‑of‑wallet and secure new ship‑to profiles.
• Maintain accurate sales reporting, including timesheets, activity logs, and opportunity updates in COMET.
• Develop and implement a personal sales plan to identify new prospects and maximize growth within the existing base.

Required profile

• Proven experience in B2B sales or account management, preferably within logistics or transportation.
• Strong customer‑focused mindset with the ability to build lasting relationships.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage a pipeline, and meet performance targets.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the COMET sales reporting system.
