About the role

DHL Express Singapore is seeking an Account Manager to drive revenue growth within an assigned sales territory. Reporting to the Area Sales Manager, you will manage existing customer relationships, acquire new business, and act as the primary point of contact for clients.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as the main liaison between customers and DHL Express, coordinating with internal departments to resolve queries and issues.
  • Conduct face‑to‑face sales visits to manage and expand a portfolio of existing and potential customers.
  • Prepare performance data for management and track key performance indicators.
  • Coordinate customer service, service recovery, and credit control matters across relevant DHL departments.
  • Participate in regular meetings with Marketing and Sales leadership to align sales strategies and achieve revenue targets.
  • Execute a weekly customer visit schedule using the Global Call Planning Tool to increase share‑of‑wallet and secure new ship‑to profiles.
  • Submit timely sales reports, timesheets, and activity updates in the Stellar system.
  • Develop and implement a personal sales plan to identify new prospects and maximize growth within existing accounts.

Required profile

  • Proven experience in B2B sales or account management, preferably within logistics or transportation.
  • Strong customer‑focused mindset with the ability to build and maintain long‑term relationships.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage a pipeline, and meet performance targets.
