Accountant – Finance Team

About the role

Esco Aster is seeking a diligent Accountant to join its Finance team in Singapore. You will support the site’s financial operations, ensuring accurate processing of transactions, timely vendor payments, and compliance with audit requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process accounting transactions for customers and vendors.
• Submit vendor payment requests for approval and reconcile accounts payable.
• Monitor petty cash activities and manage cash disbursements.
• Collaborate with Sales to post orders and follow up on customer payments.
• Work with Procurement to review open purchase orders and pre‑payment schedules.
• Produce monthly AR/AP reports, management accounts, and consolidation statements.
• Perform inventory counts and record related accounting entries.
• Liaise with external auditors for annual audits and periodic reporting.
• Assist in forecasting, budgeting, and ad‑hoc finance tasks.

• Strong command of spoken and written English.
