Accountant – Financial Operations

About the role

The Accountant will manage day‑to‑day financial operations for Publicis Groupe Singapore, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and smooth job‑management workflows across finance and non‑finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Commercial Finance Analyst to design and execute an end‑to‑end job‑management workflow, involving IT and non‑finance stakeholders.
• Onboard new joiners to the workflow, maintain training materials (PowerPoint), and conduct training on the Altair system.
• Oversee the full process from job initiation to General Ledger posting, providing work‑arounds for job closures from a finance perspective.
• Maintain and update job structures and processes as requirements evolve.
• Perform monthly job reviews, reconcile aged jobs and purchase orders, and ensure timely closures in line with audit standards.
• Guarantee the financial health of jobs complies with Groupe FMC control and audit requirements.
• Participate in weekly revenue meetings to align financial data with business objectives.

Required profile

• Strong background in accounting or finance with experience in month‑end closing and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with IT, commercial, and non‑finance teams.
• Excellent communication skills for training and stakeholder engagement.
• Detail‑oriented mindset with a focus on compliance and process improvement.
