Accountant – Financial Reporting & Tax Specialist

About the role

This role involves preparing, analyzing and reviewing monthly management accounts and financial/performance reports, ensuring completeness and accuracy. You will prepare and upload monthly FCCS reports, maintain GL Chart of Account, Profit Centre and Cost Centre, and produce yearly financial statutory reports and audit packages. You will also liaise with auditors, tax agents and IRAS on finance, audit and taxation matters, assist in budgeting, cash‑flow and balance‑sheet preparation, and handle GST reporting and tax queries.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, analyse and review monthly management accounts and performance reports.
• Upload monthly FCCS reports and submit them to Group Corporate Finance on time.
• Maintain GL Chart of Account, Profit Centre and Cost Centre in accounting and procurement systems.
• Prepare yearly financial statutory reports and audit packages.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents and IRAS on finance, audit and taxation matters.
• Assist in yearly budgeting, cash‑flow forecasting and balance‑sheet preparation.
• Plan and execute GST reporting timelines, handle GST queries and prepare tax computations.
• Prepare quarterly deferred tax calculations.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience handling full‑set accounts, tax submissions and management reporting.
• Familiarity with Financial Reporting Standards (FRS) and Singapore tax regulations.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
