Accountant – Luxury Retail

About the role
We are seeking an Accountant to join a well‑established luxury retail organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing month‑end and year‑end financial reports, analysing variances and ensuring compliance with statutory, GST and corporate tax requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and review month‑end and year‑end financial statements and reports.
- Conduct variance analysis of local and subsidiary accounts.
- Manage cash flow, treasury activities and banking relationships.
- Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, company secretaries and external consultants.
- Strengthen internal controls and ensure adherence to group financial policies.
- Identify operational improvement opportunities and troubleshoot system‑related issues.
Required profile
- Degree in Accountancy or equivalent qualification (e.g., ACCA).
- Audit experience is an advantage.
- Meticulous, analytical, independent and self‑motivated.
- Strong written communication skills in English.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
