Accountant / Senior Accountant – General Ledger

About the role

We are looking for an Accountant / Senior Accountant to manage the General Ledger function at Marina Bay Sands. The role involves preparing financial reports, handling journal entries and supporting departmental financial analysis within a dynamic hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver monthly financial and management reports on time.
• Record journal entries and perform monthly balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Analyse departmental profit & loss statements.
• Liaise with operational departments on functional and financial matters.
• Follow up on expense accruals, reversals and resolve outstanding issues.
• Assist managers in guiding junior accounting staff.
• Undertake additional duties or projects as assigned.

Required profile

• Degree in Accountancy or ACCA qualification from a recognised institution.
• Minimum three years of full‑set accounting experience, preferably in an MNC or hospitality setting.
• Strong analytical mindset and meticulous attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
