Accounting Analyst – 9‑Month Contract (Singapore)

About the role

This 9‑month contract position supports retail accounting activities across Southeast Asia and Australia‑New Zealand. You will work closely with the Senior Manager, Accounting to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance and efficient processes.

Key responsibilities

• Raise monthly rental invoices for the SEA region.
• Assist with monthly closing activities for retail accounting.
• Prepare balance‑sheet schedules and upload them to Blackline.
• Produce monthly sales reports for landlords.
• Liaise with auditors for the annual statutory audit and sales statements.
• Participate in control and business initiatives, including SOX compliance.
• Provide support to other accounting team members during project work.
• Perform additional job‑related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in an accounting or finance department of a multinational company.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Assertive, self‑initiated and able to work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; a collaborative team player.
• Ability to multitask and manage responsibilities across multiple regions.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with SAP (preferred).
• Experience using Blackline for balance‑sheet uploads.
• Comfort with AI‑enabled automation tools such as Copilot.
