Accounting Manager – Manufacturing (Singapore)

About the role

The Accounting Manager will lead the finance and accounting function for the Singapore entity of a machine‑tool manufacturing company. Reporting to the Managing Director and Deputy Managing Director, you will ensure accurate financial reporting, robust costing, and effective support for business decisions in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee full‑set accounting, month‑end close, balance‑sheet reconciliations, fixed assets, accruals and statutory reporting in line with IFRS and group policies.
• Manage year‑end audit, tax compliance and internal control frameworks.
• Support manufacturing cost accounting, inventory valuation, BOM and routing cost analysis, and provide variance insights.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, KPI monitoring, profitability analysis and capex tracking.
• Lead a team of finance executives, improve month‑end efficiency, and champion ERP and reporting automation initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with tax, audit, statutory requirements and corporate governance policies.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA or CA preferred.
• 6–10 years of accounting and finance experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Experience with costing, inventory accounting and exposure to MNC or structured environments.
