About the role

The Accounts Assistant will support the finance supervisor in daily accounting operations for our client. This position involves handling audit confirmations, managing accounts receivable processes, and ensuring accurate financial records.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare audit confirmations and assist with audit-related tasks.
  • Process accounts receivable, perform monthly debt collection, and generate debtor statements.
  • Maintain the general ledger, conduct account and bank reconciliations.
  • Update debtor collection status and ensure compliance with finance filing requirements.
  • Provide ad‑hoc support to the supervisor as needed.

Required profile

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data.
  • Ability to work independently while reporting to a supervisor.
  • Good organizational skills to manage multiple finance tasks.
