Accounts Assistant / Junior Accounts Executive

About the role

We are a small, friendly SME seeking a responsible and detail‑oriented Accounts Assistant / Junior Accounts Executive to support our finance function.

Key responsibilities

• Handle day‑to‑day accounting and bookkeeping.
• Maintain Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Assist in preparing Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets.
• Process payroll and keep related records.
• Perform bank and accounting reconciliations.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Maintain proper accounting records and documentation.
• Assist with GST, audit and other accounting matters as required.

Required profile

• Diploma or certificate in Accounting, Finance or a related field (preferred).
• Relevant accounting experience is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Responsible, meticulous and willing to learn.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
