Accounts Assistant – Junior Finance Role

About the role

We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our finance team in Singapore. The role supports daily cash flow management, accounts payable/receivable, and month‑end closing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and update daily cash flow records.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Handle supplier payments, customer receipts and perform bank reconciliations.
• Manage petty cash claims and reimbursements.
• Prepare journal entries for accruals, adjustments and other accounting transactions.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Assist with month‑end closing, audit schedules and preparation of supporting documents.
• Perform ad‑hoc duties as assigned by management.

Required profile

• Diploma, Higher Nitec, LCCI or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant accounting or finance experience, or recent graduate with suitable qualifications.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles, including AR, AP and bank reconciliations.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational and time‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet reporting deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with SAP Business One (SAP B1) is an advantage.
