Accounts Executive – Manufacturing

About the role

Our client in the manufacturing sector is looking for an Accounts Executive to join their finance team in Singapore. The role is full‑time, permanent and involves handling the complete accounting cycle, including AP, AR and general ledger functions. Working hours are 5.5 days per week, Monday to Friday 8 am‑5:30 pm and Saturday half‑day.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full spectrum of accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL) entries, together with regular bank reconciliations.
• Oversee the preparation and maintenance of meticulous financial records to ensure data integrity and accurate reporting.
• Support the finance team in executing efficient monthly, quarterly, and year‑end closing procedures.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of all incoming invoices, outgoing payments, and employee expense reimbursements.
• Monitor aging reports and follow up with clients and customers regarding outstanding balances.
• Assist in the compilation of financial statements and the development of annual corporate budgets.
• Uphold strict adherence to prevailing accounting standards, local tax regulations, and internal company protocols.

Required profile

• Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related professional field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience handling a full set of accounting, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Willingness to work a half‑day on Saturdays.
• Ability to start on short notice.
