About the role
A recruitment agency is hiring, on behalf of an award-winning BCA-registered air conditioning company, an ACMV Project Engineer in Singapore. The engineer reports to the project manager and oversees the implementation of projects.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the design team in preparing schematic drawings, layout drawings and P&ID drawings.
- Review and check drawings before submission to the main contractor.
- Raise material requests, order materials, prepare quotations and manage manpower.
- Liaise with consultants, the main contractor, suppliers and subcontractors on project implementation.
- Coordinate with consultants, architects and authorities, and carry out site supervision.
- Ensure safety measures are followed at site.
Required profile
- Diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- 3 years or more of experience in ACMV, HVAC, aircon or M&E.
- Understanding of electrical engineering.
- Strong management skills.
