Adjunct Faculty Data Science (Azure AI)

About the role

EduCLaaS, part of the CLaaS2SaaS pan-ASEAN AI acceleration platform, is looking for an Adjunct Faculty member to teach Data Science (Azure AI) in Singapore. The role supports a blended learning journey for learners, acts as a subject matter expert and mentor, and delivers courses in line with the organisation's learning delivery, operations and technology policies.

Key responsibilities

• Support the blended learning journey so learners get a superior experience and successful skills outcomes.
• Act as a subject matter expert and mentor students throughout their learning.
• Deliver courses according to the defined learning delivery, operations and technology policies.
• Manage cohorts and programmes within time, budget and P&L, using data analytics to assess programme profitability.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree.
• Proven experience as a facilitator, speaker or coach.
• 5+ years of experience in data science and machine learning.
• Strong communicator with great empathy, able to assess learners' training needs and adapt delivery.
• Good English, as classes are conducted in English.

Required skills

• Extensive programme management experience and familiarity with university frameworks.
• Financial and risk management skills.
• Understanding of educational technology and its implementation.
• R, SQL, Python, machine learning, AI, Spark and statistics.
• Python packages NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, Seaborn and Matplotlib.
• Business intelligence tools such as Tableau and Power BI, and data frameworks such as Hadoop and Spark.
• Azure Machine Learning knowledge is a plus.
• SQL proficiency, data preparation, cleaning and wrangling.
• Nice to have: Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Machine Learning certifications.
