AEM Technical Lead (Contract)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced AEM Technical Lead to drive the design, development, deployment, and support of enterprise digital platforms built on Adobe Experience Manager. This contract role will provide technical leadership across the full software development lifecycle, ensuring scalable, secure, and high‑performing solutions that meet business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical design, development, and implementation of AEM solutions and mentor development teams.
• Design and develop reusable AEM components, templates, workflows, dialogs, and services using Java, Sling Models, OSGi, HTL, and JCR.
• Plan and execute deployments across development, testing, staging, and production environments using CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Adobe Cloud Manager).
• Integrate AEM with enterprise applications via REST APIs, Adobe Experience Cloud products, and third‑party platforms.
• Monitor application health, optimise performance, troubleshoot incidents, and support upgrades and patches.
• Collaborate with business users, UX, architects, QA, and project managers in Agile ceremonies and technical reviews.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in AEM development and deployment at an enterprise level.
• Strong understanding of cloud technologies, DevOps practices, and enterprise security.
