Aerospace Technician

About the role

Collins Aerospace, part of RTX, the world's largest aerospace and defense company, is hiring an onsite Technician for its Advanced Structures team in Singapore. The team uses advanced materials and additive manufacturing to build complex interior and exterior aircraft solutions, and is looking for candidates who want to join a global team committed to making aircraft safer, more affordable and more sustainable.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and document defects accurately in Inspection Repair Records (IRR)
• Perform mechanical repair, forming and part replacement work
• Carry out assembly and disassembly work
• Use the alignment jig / ASMJ for repair work
• Follow the repair scheme / routing and clear the route after each job
• Finish repairs so they are serviceable and ready for release to service
• Work in a safe environment with 5S in the workshop and understand personal PPE

Required profile

• Diploma/Nitec in Aerospace, Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Candidates without experience are welcome to apply for an entry-level position

Required skills

• Understanding of blueprints, repair instructions and sketches
• CAAS A12, B11 and L11/L12 papers are advantageous
