AI & Digital Innovation Senior Associate – Financial Services Assurance

About the role

PwC is seeking an AI & Digital Innovation Senior Associate to join its Financial Services Assurance practice. The role focuses on embedding artificial intelligence and automation into audit workflows for banking, asset management, capital markets and insurance clients.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse audit workflows to identify automation and AI opportunities.
• Collaborate with auditors, risk professionals and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable AI solutions.
• Design, develop, test and validate AI/ML models using classical machine learning, NLP and generative AI techniques.
• Architect AI‑enabled tools such as intelligent assistants, workflow automations and knowledge‑retrieval systems.
• Build and maintain data preparation processes, integration workflows and scalable data pipelines across audit, finance and risk systems.
• Produce documentation, training materials and lead knowledge‑transfer sessions for audit teams.
• Monitor emerging AI, automation and cloud trends and evaluate their applicability to the audit transformation program.
• Ensure all solutions comply with firm policies, regulatory requirements, data‑privacy standards and responsible AI principles.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative team culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology or a related field.
