AI Ethics and Governance Senior Specialist

About the role

Join a diverse and dynamic AI Ethics and Governance team at a leading biopharmaceutical company in Singapore. You will work on AI risk assessment, governance processes, and responsible AI implementation across research, clinical, manufacturing, and commercial functions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the AI risk assessment team and develop AI risk management processes and infrastructure.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks in AI projects by collaborating with business and technical stakeholders.
• Implement Explainable AI (XAI) by testing and auditing data sets, models, and solutions for bias, fairness, and explainability.
• Support the development and implementation of AI ethics policies and contribute to external initiatives.
• Research emerging AI developments, best practices, and regulatory changes to guide the organization.

Required profile

• Self‑motivated, eager to learn new topics and develop domain expertise.
• Passionate about building a fair, inclusive AI ecosystem and aware of policy, legal, and regulatory aspects.
• Strong communication skills, able to coach others and present technical viewpoints to senior leaders.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any field with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
• Proven ability to lead teams, foster a collaborative culture, and manage AI risk.
