AIDC Engineer – Data Center Projects

About the role

CATL is seeking an AIDC Engineer to support its global data‑center projects from early feasibility through to build‑ready stages. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams and customers worldwide, providing technical solutions and ensuring successful project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and analyse technical requirements for overseas data‑center projects.
• Communicate with customers, develop data‑center solutions, and prepare bidding and proposal documents.
• Identify risks and resolve system‑level issues throughout product development.
• Track testing, pilot production, and certification results; produce R&D documentation such as product specifications and patents.
• Draft technical agreements.
• Undertake long‑term business travel or on‑site assignments to provide localized customer support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Power Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation or a related field.
• Experience designing data‑center power systems (HVDC, PDU, supercapacitors, UPS, BBU, power modules, etc.).
• At least 3 years of technical, customer‑facing experience in the data‑center industry (preferred).
• Experience with products or projects that have reached mass production or delivery (preferred).
• Strong communication, organisation, coordination and comprehension abilities.
• Highly proactive, logical thinker with strong teamwork skills.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
