Aircon Ductman (HVAC Duct Installation)

About the role

A permanent, 5.5-day week position in Upper Paya Lebar, Singapore, for a client that is an HVAC/ACMV/Aircon project maintenance company. The role covers installing, maintaining and repairing HVAC duct systems in line with safety standards and building regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair HVAC duct systems according to safety standards and building regulations.
• Fabricate and install ductwork and other essential metal components.
• Read and interpret blueprints and HVAC plans to guide installations.
• Inspect and repair damaged duct systems for optimal performance.
• Ensure proper insulation and sealing of duct systems to maintain energy efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external subcontractors, and coordinate with clients and team members to carry out installation plans.

Required profile

• A Higher Nitec in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent certification.
• At least 3 years of experience working on ductwork installations.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Knowledge of safety standards and building regulations in Singapore.

Candidates will be asked three screening questions about their aircon ducting fitting experience, familiarity with large commercial building ducting requirements and reference projects.
