Aircraft Mechanic – Maintenance Services (Singapore)

About the role

As an Aircraft Mechanic for Qatar Airways in Singapore, you will deliver aircraft maintenance services, support operational requirements, and ensure compliance with company and customer procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Duty Engineer with technical documentation and ensure accurate, timely information capture.
• Inspect aircraft, engines, and components for cracks, leaks, or damage and perform necessary repairs.
• Service, clean, and maintain moving parts and equipment, ensuring all tools are serviceable before use.
• Provide AOG (Aircraft on Ground) support in Singapore and other regions as needed, including travel for aircraft recovery.
• Perform line‑maintenance services in accordance with contracts and customer procedures.
• Maintain the line store according to Qatar Airways standards.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance, Trade, or a vocational aircraft maintenance qualification.
• Minimum five years of experience on modern jet aircraft, with hands‑on work on A350, A380, B777 (passenger/freighter) and B787 types.
• In‑depth knowledge of aircraft maintenance fundamentals and ability to work independently.
• Strong communication skills and ability to operate within a 24/7 high‑volume environment.
• Legal right to live and work in Singapore.
